Can you see my shadow?

Have you ever been afraid of your Shadow?  I know this sounds like a question for your kids, right, and I agree. However I started searching my shadow and trying to see what others see when my shadow passes by.  I have been in shopping malls or the grocery store lately and have seen many types of people. For example, there was a guy of Indian decent and my thoughts were he looks Muslim and what I saw was darkness! I saw a lady with long hair and Godly dressed with the love of God shinning through her, and said she looks UPC. We cast a shadow no matter where we go or what we do.  I recently talked to a 20 something young man and asked him about his life and the way he lived, and he said, and I quote "it doesn't matter how I live I'm not effecting anyone else by living the way I do".  I sat and thought about his comment for a while and then it hit me.  We all live our lives like that to some extent. We go about our daily lives with very little thought about our fellow man, or woman.  We go to church and mechanically start to go through the motions of praise and worship. What can those who have just came to God see when our shadow of worship passes by them?  What will our children feel when our shadow passes over them and all they ever see us do is worship and praise God at church.  I'm sorry folks this has really been eating at me for some time to the point of consuming me. I am afraid we as a church, The Church, yes I know I may get flack from saying that but I am saying that as the true One God, Jesus name, Tongue talking church, have entered into a place, a very dangerous place, where God wants to speak to us, through us and we set there and grow colder each and every day.  I don't want to sound like I'm bad mouthing the church. I still feel we have the best church (UPC) there is, especially the church I attend. I just feel like the spirit of conviction that worked in the past and moved through our church so strongly has diminished and we have compromised to accept what we have now! It's my belief that when we have the Holy Ghost with in us we have the light of God shinning through us. When you have a light inside shinning from the inside out it cast a shadow that the world sees through us. Can the world see God in your shadow? In Acts chapter 5 we read about Peter and his shadow. Peters shadow past over folks that were sick, blind, def, dumb, ect and they were healed.  Is there anything being done when our shadow passes over? I have began to realize when we first prayed through to the Holy Ghost we had the ultimate light shinning through us and our shadow was eminating Jesus and His love. We were consumed with saving the whole world and our love was unconditional.  We have to somehow go back to that place and I'm convinced it will only come with a strong prayer life, and a closer walk with God. The more of this world we remove from our life,  the more of Jesus the world will see when our shadow passes over! It's my prayer that each day that passes brings you and I closer to God and our shadow will bring conviction and change to those it passes over. God Bless!
